Pastor Ryan

Ryan Jamar Fontenot Sr., serves as Lead Pastor of New Song Church & Ministries in Denver, Colorado. He began in ministry at the tender age of 10 yrs old. Ryan was licensed to preach in December of 2000 by the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church where Pastor Harold J. Hicks served as Pastor. Shortly after Pastor Ryan began his work as a Sunday School teacher, teaching his peers. Pastor Ryan later begin working as a Children’s minister. Moving from Children’s minister to Youth Minister Pastor Ryan begin to be called upon to preach at youth Conferences and Revivals around the City of Denver and Aurora. These opportunities have led him to do ministry in Oklahoma, Albuquerque, Georgia, Kansas, Colorado Springs, Kansas,Texas and much more.

 

Pastor Ryan later launched a ministry of his own R.J.F. Ministries which seeks to bridge the generational gap in our churches. Serving 9 yrs faithfully to his local church. At the beginning of the 10th Year, God called Ryan to Pastor. Giving him the vision of Higher Anointing Christian Center later named “The Rock” Church of Denver. Being ordained through the IPHC International Pentecostal Holiness Churches.

 

The Unique gift on Pastor Ryan has allowed him to be accepted by a wide range of denominations and ethnicities. He currently holds a B.A. in Christian Education as well as numerous certificates through the Evangelical Training Association which led him to his certification as an approved teacher of E.T.A. Material. Pastor Ryan has been featured on Daystar Television Network, Denver Weekly News, Denver Post, and many other national/local networks. He has now been pastoring for 13 years and in ministry for 20 years.

Being recognized throughout Denver as one of the most unique and fresh voices of this generation, Pastor Ryan has recognized the apostolic anointing on his life in planting & establishing churches as well as leaders. Pastor Ryan was affirmed & consecrated as an Apostle/Bishop on August 26, 2016 under the Living Word Ministries International under the leadership of Apostle John Brannon. He is the overseeing Apostolic Leader of Oasis Apostolic Network. Oasis Apostolic Network is an affiliate of Pilgrim Assemblies International (PAI) Inc., which is headquartered in New York under the leadership of Presiding Archbishop William Hudson III. Apostle Ryan serves in the Western Regional of PAI Inc.

In July 2021, Apostle Ryan was considered by Pastor R. Loren Sandford, founding pastor of New Song Church and Ministries, to be his successor. Shortly after the sudden passing of Pastor R. Loren in fall of 2021. Apostle Ryan was appointed as Lead Pastor of the New Song Church & Ministries, by Founding Co Pastor Beth Sandford and the board on January 30, 2022. Which consists of a Spirit-filled, charismatic, intergenerational and interracial church, passionate about the heart of the Father through Jesus and dedicated to manifesting the kingdom of God in all our relationships and ministries.

Apostle Ryan has been tried in the fire and has come out as pure gold. Of all his accomplishments, Apostle Ryan’ greatest joy comes from his family. On January 15, 2022, he married the love of his life, Lady Alanes T. Fontenot, affectionately called “Lady Lani” Lady Lani diligently serves alongside her husband and impels the vision he has for New Song Church & Oasis Apostolic Network. He is a loving and devoted husband and father of Five beautiful children.
